A Different Lifetime
>> Thursday, August 4, 2011
Now that the trek has ended and life has returned to normal, it honestly seems like a lifetime away that we were up high on those mountains, living the life of a bushman. I look back on photos and can't believe myself that I was there and that I walked the length of NZ. I'm not sure how convincing I'll sound telling my grandchildren in years to come when it feels like a dream already.
Please all still follow the work being done for the Solomon Islands community. I still hope to visit them one day in the near future and they will need ongoing support from anybody who felt inspired or touched enough by their story. Small help can make a big difference and education and life skills is something we all take for granted so giving something so simple will turn things around for this community for a lifetime.
I will continue to update my blog so keep checking and keep living.
